Tracy Kimball is an award-winning photojournalist who lives in Rock Hill, S.C., just minutes from Charlotte, N.C. Tracy was a photojournalist for The Herald newspaper in Rock Hill for more than 8 years before becoming a full-time wedding, sports, event and corporate photographer.
In addition to The Herald, she has been published in The Charlotte Observer, The State newspaper — South Carolina's largest daily newspaper, The Gate publication in San Francisco, as well as numerous publications such as Rejuvenate Magazine, Fort Mill Focus and McClatchy Company's quarterly magazine and other brochures and publications.
Tracy received her bachelor of arts degree in journalism from Winthrop University in Rock Hill in 1999 and studied fine art and documentary photography in college.
Her love for photojournalism has extended to wedding photography, where she puts her education and experience in newspapers to work — truly documenting the event — every emotion, every smile, every moment.
